GIFT City, or Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, is India's first operational International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It has been developed as an international financial hub offering a platform for a range of financial services and products. The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) regulates and develops financial activities within the IFSC framework.

GIFT City provides access to a range of financial activities, including banking, capital markets, fund management, insurance and other permitted financial services. Through eligible and authorised institutions, investors and businesses may explore investment opportunities involving domestic and international markets, subject to applicable regulations and eligibility requirements.

One of the key features of GIFT City is its international financial services framework, which supports eligible fund management activities and investment structures. Depending on the product and investor category, available opportunities may include funds investing in domestic or overseas securities, subject to the relevant scheme documents, regulatory permissions and applicable laws.

Investing through GIFT City may provide eligible investors with access to specialised financial products and international investment opportunities. However, the benefits, currency exposure, costs, taxation and investment conditions vary by product and investor status. Investors should carefully evaluate the investment objective, risk profile, liquidity, fees and applicable tax implications before making a decision.

Disclaimer: Investment opportunities through GIFT City and GIFT IFSC are subject to applicable regulatory requirements, eligibility conditions and product-specific terms.
